Love The Kitty is an online store focused on funny and cute cat themed gifts & décor for people who love cats. We are based in the Outer Banks, NC. Our mission is to provide unique and quality products for people who want to show everyone just how much the love and admire their kitty cats. We are constantly searching for new cat themed products which highlight the cuteness, independence, funny and often frisky side of cats!

My name is Joe and I live in the Outer Banks, NC with my wife Cortney. We are both lifelong cat lovers. We have been parents to several rescue cats since 1994. Our house has been a temporary home for dozens of kitties and strays over the years, many of which have ended up as permanent residents!

Recently, Cortney has become very active in trapping, fixing and releasing feral cats here in the Outer Banks as well as fostering and finding homes for stray and abandoned kittens. When feral kittens are found they must be vaccinated and tested for harmful diseases which otherwise could be spread to other cats in the local population. Cortney works closely with local cat organizations and vets to safely and humanely reduce the wild cats population of the Outer Banks, many of which would have ended up being trapped by animal control or local "anti-catters" facing truly uncertain and often gloomy fates. A portion of the proceeds from our sales helps to fund our efforts with these local cats.
